The wait is over. They recovered Sissy’s body late yesterday afternoon. While I had been praying that we would find her, to my surprise, I found no great relief with the news that she had been found. Only profound sadness with the proof that her life really was over. Way too soon. We can move forward now, but it’s going to take a very long time to heal from this. We WILL move forward, but for now I am tired, very tired. And simply without words.
C.S. and I are just so sorry, Hula. We've been hoping for the best, and keeping you all close in our thoughts. May you find some peace in the midst of your sadness.
So sorry, so very sorry, for all of the family's pain .
I may be wrong, but I don't think one ever "gets over" it, but through God's strength, you do get it through it. Some days it is one step forward and two steps back, but slowly you do get through it. Never the same though.
My heart goes out to her and the tremendous suffering she endured while on this earth. Thankfully, I've never had to walk in her shoes. But none of us know what the future hold for us (without sounding "preachy", but we do know who holds our future in His hands). Again, I am just so sorry and hope I haven't sounded like I know everything because I surely don't. Extending my sincere sympathy.
I have been thinking of you and your family since yesterday. I won't pretend to know how yall feel but remember that we love you and you are in our prayers every night. Life deals us some really hard blows but that is part of the deal. Part of living.
No the loss doesn't ever go away but it changes. It changes into something manageable with unexpected visits from time to time. But then something good happens you start remembering only the good, the best, and the sweetest things about her. So sorry and praying.....
Jason is right..."life is hard"...and sometimes it just downright sucks. That's the sad part of someone leaving us...we are left to deal with the sadness, anger, and a multitude of other feelings.
My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and your family as you deal with everything.

You need to take the time that YOU need to get through this.
Thinking of you. : )
I am glad the wait is over and you and your family can now have closure. Our deepest sympathy is with you.
May the Lord give you strength to get through your sorrow. Only remember the good times with Sissy and let that give you peace. Prayers are with you.
