For years Hubby’s family attended the World’s Biggest Fish Fry in Paris, Tennessee where they enjoyed parades, carnival rides and the main attraction, heapin’ plates of fried catfish. In 1961 Aunt Charlie thought it would be cute to dress Hubby and Cousin Hugh Allen in matching overalls and have Hubby push Hugh Allen down the parade route in a stroller decorated like a fishing boat with a fake fish hanging off of it. You don’t see Hubby in this picture because he was hiding behind the Ben Franklin, hoping not to be seen in his overalls, red shirt and straw hat. Is anyone else reminded of Mayberry when they look at this picture?

I was feeling inspired by the snowstorm we had yesterday so I thought I'd
go for a drive and take a few pictures. All images were taken in Seabrook,

That is adorable! Definitely Mayberry.
Cute? More like adorable!
I especially like the fringe around the bottom. Very professional.
He looks like the little kid that always had the peanut butter sandwich. I can just see Barney Fife pulling up behind him on his motorcycle w/the side car.
Looks like Opie to me!
Looks like a simple fun thing to do. Every small town has something to look forward to every year. Thats a good thing.
