As the sun sets on this holiday, the unofficial end to summer, I am stunned at how fast my favorite season has flown. While I should be grateful for the cooler temperatures and beautiful foliage that's just around the corner, I am, as always, sad. No more bare feet. No more pool. No more smell of freshly cut grass. Summer is drawing to a close, and all I can think about is how long it will be until it rolls around again. Sigh.

I was feeling inspired by the snowstorm we had yesterday so I thought I'd
go for a drive and take a few pictures. All images were taken in Seabrook,

Yep, me too! Here in the northeast, the winters are so gray, the sun seems to leave and not come back until late spring. I will add though, I do love fall here, the colors are so vibrant and the cooler temps invigorate me. Cant wait to put my fall decorations out and get my pumpkins and mums. Love your photo, I can't seem to get enough of sunset or sunrise pics also.
Here in Southern PA, the weather is gloomy and it feels like FALL. I do love the Fall. It is probably my favorite time of year next to Summer. Hmmm, probably because my birthday is in the Fall.
I continue to wear my flip flops until there is snow on the ground!
Life goes on.
Living where I do we have summer until about January. :-)
I'm trying to be somber but I just can't stop grinning...I love fall like you love summer!!
