Going Around in Circles

For a while I took pictures of everything that moved. Now, I seem obsessed with things that don’t move, specifically architecture. For some reason I’m drawn to shapes within structures.
Like circles: Half circles. Scrolls. Arches. I can’t seem to stop. And while I first thought it might have something to do with a new awareness of the art in architecture. I really think it has more to do with the fact that my family is tired of me snapping pictures of every move they make.

Oh hun...how I feel your pain. My granddaughter told me once "Grandmother, no more pictures." She was 3. I didn't listen and snuck in a few more just cause. I have been a photo nut since I was in my 20's. Are there meetings for folks like us? lol

Well you certainly have a knack for snapping interesting pictures. It is a challenge to get a great photo from a still object. Not that I am a professional or anything!

LoL, my family knew when they saw me coming that I was going to have them group together for a picture. They would say "here she comes with that camera of hers". I too am starting to find structures interesting. You got some great shots.

when they become teenagers do they automatically KNOW how to give this look or do they have to practice alot? The fun part of these pics is that I have seen them all but never in this way! That's the sign of a gifted photograper ya know?
