Perhaps I Shouldn't Have Waited Until Today to do Most of my Christmas Shopping
Do you ever find yourself standing in the middle of Wal-mart silenting screaming to more than one person, "MOVE your a** out of the middle of the aisle!!!"? Or is it just me? Just asking.
Sorry about that. The stores here are so terribly cramped though, on the whole, that I can THOROUGHLY relate to the emotion...though I mostly want them to give me more than about a foot and a half of aisle between shelves loaded with breakables while totting an overloaded bag. I left the bag at the doorway mostly.
Oh, honey....you are NOT alone. Yesterday I went to Target for 3 things on my list (regular stuff, not Christmas stuff), and twice I had to say as politely as possible, but a little louder than normal, "Excuse me, may I pass through?" with a "thank you!" as I pass by. I get it that your cart is full and the kids are pulling you every which way--but it does not mean you get to drive down the middle of the aisle!
Amen, Sister! And not just at Christmas! People get so self-absorbed in their shopping that they completely ignore everyone else in the store. It drives me nuts! Add a cell phone conversation to that and I believe you have justifiable homicide!
Super Saturday here in PA was cancelled due to the significant snow fall. The malls closed, restaurants closed - - the whole town was closed down! I still have some shopping to do *sigh*
The only thing I can say is that I'm sick of spending money! Luckily we are almost done but we sure will be paying for it. Frankly I didn't think the stores and lines were that bad here. Thank goodness!
I never use a cart after Dec. 10 (except in the grocery store). That way I can scoot around the aisle-blockers with my overloaded carry basket, and never risk Shopper's Hypnosis myself.
I'm a 40-something mother, wife, sister and daughter. I'm a wanna be photographer who spends her spare time dreaming about traveling the world and taking pictures.

Get it done girl!
I blame those newscasters for saying the 's' word. It always incites much shopping in the land. ( ;
