Yesterday, we had a big ol' storm that roared through here. A couple of tornadoes were involved but not close to my house. However, in the midst of the storm, Hubby stepped out of our garage, into a monsoon, and heard a boom that sounded like a cannon going off. Apparantly, an old tree just up the road lost its pants. As daddy would say, how do ya' like them apples?

go for a drive and take a few pictures. All images were taken in Seabrook,

Yikes! We had some storms roll through this area too last night. Very windy and buckets of rain. No thunder though.
Wow...took the bark right off that poor tree...hope it recoops. Here in Brunswick Ga. the storm hit this morning at 6am n ended 8am...thunder, ligthning and rain. We were very lucky!
We have been having our share of harsh weather (70 m.p.h. gusts in a thunderstorm last week) but nothing like this. Yikes.
