I love this statue. She makes me smile and makes me feel joyous and spiritual. Is she stretching in the sun, reaching for a hug from someone much taller or simply praising God for a blessing? I'm not sure, but I'm positive her heart is full, so my post is in the form of a prayer…for you.
Brothers and sisters,
May the grace of God warm you like the sun and fill your heart with uninhibited joy. May you love the Lord with the boldness of a child and share that love with outstretched arms. Amen.

Beautiful words that make a lovely prayer.
Thank you for offering such sweet words for "us". It's a lovely prayer that seems so fitting for our muse. You seem to have had the same response to "her" that I did :) (I've gotta call the Choo Choo and find out more about the statue! I just KNOW there's a history there!).
Thanks, too, for joining in early--there's always a lot to do to get out of town, so I appreciate the extra effort :).
Amen! How fitting and beautiful and thoughtful your words are!
Lovely! They prayer is perfect for her.
An inspiring response and lovely ‘blessing’ … thank you!
I’ve participated at Sacred Ruminations today combining Robin’s challenge with Haiku Friday.
Hugs and blessings,
Oh that was lovely, a beautiful prayer. Thank you so much!

Amen!
Beautiful words there!
Lovely words!
My first thought was, "Why are these birds spitting in the water?"
BUT, you are much more sincere with your words.
Nice.
