There I was putting on my rolled up jeans and new Sperry Topsiders this weekend and I shouted, "Hello 1980! I haven't seen you in forevah!! Have you seen my friend Big Shoulder Pads?" Sigh. I've missed them all so.
I used to have some, they were the crappiest sailing shoes. Something weird is going on with the tongue on those shoes (oooh, imagine the hits you'll get with THAT comment, sorry).....why does it stop before the laces.
I too wore the shoulder pads..... I never really needed them.....really truly looked like a scrawny linebacker.
HaHa...would you believe I just bought a pair of sperry plaid sneakers...they are so cute...I love them and I love the rolled up jeans look. Never liked the shoulder pads.
