I’m not naming any names but SOMEBODY in this house doesn’t like to take a bath.
In fact, he’s downright pouty about it.
SOMEBODY snorts and refuses to look at you while he’s getting a deep conditioning.
SOMEBODY has to be chased down to get dried off.
This part always reminds me of that scene in
Gone with the Wind when Rhett puts his coat over the horse’s head to settle it down and get it out of burning Atlanta.
Somebody doesn’t like to get a rub down.
He really isn’t happy when you clean his ears either.
But as long as it’s 9 degrees outside and SOMEBODY wants to sleep underneath the covers snuggled up next to my knees in MY bed, he’s going to be clean. Even if it does take Sherman’s Army to give him a bath.

Harvey my cat really hates a bath as well.
Does Somebody also run and rub his face and body all over the bed pillows while he is still damp? That's what my Somebody used to do.
Great photos!
Poor Baby! Somebody down here needs a bath too! Well three somebodies do anyway! Yesterday I came home in the scorching heat to find "somebody" had chewed up both of the large water bowls. Everybody was very hot and thirsty and mama chased them all with the hose and wet them down! Miko loved it, the other two were most upset!

Stupid question here...how often do you give him a bath? Chuck had one the summer before last when he ran through poison ivy...boy did he hate that. Though he LOVES a good rub down.....should I be embarrassed that it has been so long since I gave the dog a bath?

He however would love the rub down, and would be REALLY miserable for the bath. HATES water that dog.
Poor pup...but it's gotta' be done!
Oh the life of a dog. I think yours is treated pretty darn good. Lucky pup!
Somebody's a beautiful dog!
Orenta-Because he has to be groomed fairly regularly or his hairwill become an absolute tangled nasty mess, it works out to about once a month.
Janis-You have no idea how good this dog has it. In fact, I don't think he realizes he's a dog.
Oh, and JG, he does run and rub his face on the rugs when he's out of the tub. In fact, he's quite manic when he's trying to dry off his beard.
